What a wonderful way to start the new year of 2018 to have a full house turnout screening in the capital city of a country!
On Saturday, January 13th, In the Name of Confucius saw a most successful premiere in Warsaw, Poland. About 150 audiences attended the event host by idź Pod Prąd, an online media club. The local theatre was packed with enthusiastic audience members who came to learn about the “Truth of China”, the theme of the event.
The same organization hosted the Polish premiere of In the Name of Confucius in Lublin in September, 2017. Film director Doris Liu attended the post-screening Q&A via Skype from Canada.
There are 5 Confucius Institutes and 2 Confucius Classrooms in Poland as of 2017.
