On March 3, 2017, In the Name of Confucius director Doris Liu was interview by Cogeco TV host Dug Stevenson on the “green carpet”. The interview before the opening gala of the Belleville Downtown DocFest has been a tradition for the past 6 years. In the Name of Confucius had its world premiered before a full house audience at the festival that afternoon.
